Fine Art School Portraits (TSTI)

What are fine art school portraits?

Fine art school portraits are a modern approach to traditional school photography. I will be using a very simple light gray background so the attention is all on capturing the individual personality of your child. My goal is to deliver a classic and timeless portrait that lets your child’s uniqueness shine through. Children are encouraged to be themselves and will never be forced to smile.

When will I be at the school?

I will be at TSTI on Monday, March 3th- Thursday, March 6th with a make up day tbd. Your child’s teacher will let you know which day your class is scheduled.

What should my child wear?

Children should dress for picture day! They should be themselves, but please avoid graphics, characters, neon colors and large logos.

What is the process?

I spend approximately 1-2 minutes with each child. My goal is to capture a range of expressions for each child, however some will naturally be more comfortable in front of the camera.

What about a class picture?

Group class pictures will be in your child’s gallery for purchase.

How will I order?

Within 3-4 weeks of picture day, I will have your photos ready to view. Each class will have its own password protected proofing gallery. Each child will have their own folder within the class gallery. The only other parents who can view your child’s photos are those in your class. If there is any privacy concern, please let Carol or Lauren know before picture day.

There will be 2-5 pictures of each child. I will include both color and black and white images. You can then select the ones you would like purchase and print. You will be able to order individual prints, print collections (like traditional school pictures), canvases, and digital files directly from the gallery. The galleries will be open for 7 days ONLY. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME! I will then place all orders together and deliver final products to the school for distribution.
